"I can relate to the line that says, "I can't thank you enough providing me with love" because it reminds me of my relationship with my parents and how thankful I am that they are so wonderful."

In The Presence of Authentic Meaning

Do you have an open mind and fresh ears that can hear a pure voice and can interpret meaning through riddles? If so, then Antimo is an artist that will have a lasting impact on your life. Antimo has found a meaning to life and teaching others what he’s learned is one of his true goals. His love for music, philosophy, writing, poetry, teaching, and art, are definitely heard with every lyric and sound created.
Antimo is an artist who has successfully married both of his loves, ‘music’ and ‘teaching,’ by being comically serious and at the same time being an introverted extrovert. Antimo says, “Each of our lives has an infinite definition in the dictionary of souls. Not a single spirit is ‘alike’ to another; rather, ‘part’ of another. Our experiences connect our lives with utmost perfection, whether directly or indirectly performed. We would not be exactly where we are today, or who or what we are today, if it weren’t for our pasts.”
Recently I asked Antimo to recall for me how his love for music began. “On the date of April 19, 2002, two individuals at Oviedo High School, located in Oviedo, Florida - Zachary and Brittany - were killed in a tragic car accident. It was then I was acquainted with a revelation; I noticed that life’s primal balances portray a sophisticated simplicity, for through their deaths I found life. As I sat by Zac's grave I was inspired to live. The two mentioned who’ve passed I consider to be my best friends." I was further astonished to learn just how grateful he is to these two friends he's never met; his gratitude is easily seen through his music and music video from then to now.
For Antimo it comes down to this, “As a goal for everyone, make that extra effort to notice another’s interests; acknowledge their very existence. It upsets me greatly when ‘one’ makes another’s view seem inferior, or meaningless. I implore you all to look within your own heart, for truth isn’t to be accepted by others, it is to be felt. For once that truth is found, you’ll then be able to pass that inspiration on to others in a number of ways."
Attending one of Antimo's live performances is being in the presence of authentic meaning, for he doesn't just create music, he experiences it right down to the center of his soul. The meaning behind each of his songs gives you a glimpse into the private audience of Antimo's mind. Antimo’s spirit is a reflection of the Divine in all of us, for even if your faith is no more than the note of silence, his message is a universal one - we’re all important and vital to the song of our world.
Antimo's use of imagery in his music video, 'When I Last Saw You,' creates the sense of nostalgia; his full intent. This song is the first he's ever written, so it remains highly personal and heartfelt. Antimo recalls that, “Awareness of my artistic abilities conjured around the age of fourteen. My self-expression began with the use of words, for to me a ‘word’ is worth a thousand pictures. Journal entries, poetry, and letters became my absolute way of life.”
It was during this time of personal emotional and spiritual growth that the purpose of Antimo's life became clear. In addition, he was to be the comfort needed for others through his own original music. It was out of such darkness during his senior year of high school that, 'When I Last Saw You' slid from the shadows and was born into light.
Antimo learned that life was indeed a riddle, and if he pursued it too earnestly himself, he would find his own way into tragedy - which is the basis for his latest song, 'A Miracle.' Have we not all cried dry tears of loving, unloved, alone? In those moments are we not clearly misunderstood and afraid? Who hasn’t been generously limited to acceptance?
All of Antimo’s songs remain true to the reactions of his soul. It is from our individual trials that truth presents itself. Antimo’s songs contain no intentional gender pronouns, such as 'he' or 'she,' because Antimo feels that exclusion makes people feel truly alone. In all of his lyrics and music videos there are hidden discoveries to be made that challenge, reconsider, and revise so that they do not divide, but present as an integrated whole of humanity.
As fate would have it no other way, he is faithfully faithful and clearly blinded that he is a pure inspiration to his friends, family, and fans. His insightful lyrics, with the unusual directions of paradox, irony, and wit are simply intelligent and he turns traditional wisdom inside out. Antimo's ultimate goal is, "To be on stage with thousands of people in the audience singing a song I wrote back to me. Although I haven't finished many things I've started in the past, this time death is the only thing that can stop me."
