it accepts anyone who listens.

Antimo Onzo
IU Records

Antimo Onzo founded IU Records because of his passion for music and the visual arts. IU Records operates to record and promote several Southwest Florida based individuals/bands.

IU Records is a Cape Coral, Florida based music recording studio for a select group of Southwest Florida based individuals/bands. IU Records has adopted the business philosophy that for long term sustainable growth it will be more successful for the company to work with up to five individuals/bands and provide quality services to them equally than to work with large numbers of individuals/bands and hope one is a commercial success. This approach is quite appealing to individuals/bands. It provides the individuals/bands with the intimate and specialized focus of IU Records.

Management:
Antimo is a veteran of the music industry. Since high school Antimo began writing, performing, and producing his own music and music videos. He is currently producing his yet to be entitled CD, as well as directed and produced his own music videos entitled, When I Last Saw You and Take Me There.

Mission:
IU Records exists as a locally based record label company whose mission is to record and produce local music groups, including music videos to increase exposure and record and video sales.

Products and Services:
IU Records is taking a new approach to studio recording. Instead of competing with the large, ultra competitive national music/video recording companies, as well with the larger Indie labels, IU Records adopts a regional, intimate approach where IU Records concentrates on several local individuals/bands. By working with only a few individuals/bands at once, IU Records is able to offer a much more specialized and attentive level of service for its clients, especially those interested in taking their music to the next level of music video production. This is something no other local music recording studio can offer.

Having the experience of producing a CD and music video of his own, Antimo shows the dedication and quality of work he provides to his clients.

IU Records does not focus on a specific genre of music, instead, IU Records focuses on the element of improvisation which can be found in a wide range of genres. Improvisation can be described as adding free flow change or spontaneity to a recording and/or performance. This occurs in the moment, in a spontaneous experimentation. This lends itself to viewing a band's performance multiple times, as no performance is the same. Improvisation also lets the musicians "shine."

Market Segmentation:
IU Records has identified four target market segments which will be the main targeted customers.

Individual Artists: This segment consists of the individual artist that writes and plays their own original music who need a demo (EP) or full length CD (LP) produced to gain exposure for their own work. This segment also includes recording 'cover' songs if the artist desires to include this type of music on their CD. Music videos can be produced while recording their session, or produced in an original format.

Complete Bands: This segment consists of the band members that write and play their own original music who need a demo (EP) or full length CD (LP) produced to gain exposure for their own work. This segment also includes recording 'cover' songs if the band desires to include this type of music on their CD. Music videos can be produced while recording their band session, or produced in an original format.

High School Music Students: This segment consists of providing a 'young' artist that writes and plays their own original music who need a demo (EP) or full length CD (LP) produced to gain exposure for their own work. This segment also includes recording 'cover' songs if the individual/band desires to include this type of music on their CD. Music videos can be produced while recording their band session, or produced in an original format.

Music Majors at College and Universities: This segment consists of providing a music major who has a formal education in music with the opportunity of recording their own original music who need a demo (EP) or full length CD (LP) produced to gain exposure for their own work.
